"It was definitely one of the most special experiences in my life. We were lucky to have a beautifully clear sky. The view of the stars was beyond my imagination. Although the moon was quite bright, we could still clearly see Mars, the Big Dipper, Orion and The Spring Triangle with our naked eyes. The friendly staff prepared a campfire, hot drinks, and sleeping bags to keep us warm. It kind of brought me back to my university days. Personally, I loved the way George told stories—so cute and vivid, just like listening to a fairy tale. My stay was excellent — the staff were friendly and helpful, and both dinner and breakfast were of a high standard and beautifully presented."
"This place is truly unique. We booked a night's stay at the hotel which included dinner and breakfast, as well as a 3 part observatory tour at night. Rooms were style like an old cottage, very charming and homely. Beds were comfortable, pillows were okay as well. Bathroom was spacious but you got to brave the cold floor. Dinner was a multi course French meal, may or may not be your thing, but it tasted pretty good! The highlight of the stay has to be the 3 part observatory tour. From a cinematic-ish tour of the stars and galaxies, we were brought to the telescope room to see some star clusters and planets, and finally ended with a night out in a field, comfortably packed in sleeping bags/safari beds looking up at the clear night sky. Hot beverages were provided at the end too! Hot cocoa, wine, tea. The tour was in Jap/English. A once in a lifetime experience!"
